Waterford crystal glass
Wonderful product and feels great to hold. Solid crystal glass with marvelous facets and weight. Based on your preference for style, cannot go wrong with Waterford or Steuben glass.
Beautiful
As an avid scotch drinker, I couldn't imagine a more beautiful glass to sip from. I did quite a bit of research in trying to find the most appealing old fashion crystal glass, and this one fit the bill. Most would probably only use these glasses for special occasions, but I use them for any occasion that calls for Scotch.....Which is generally every Friday and Saturday night.
Overall the price is great from Amazon since it qualifies for the 4 for 3 promotion. The glasses are also made in Dublin, which is nice since most Waterford these days is made else where.
Since the glasses are handmade, I was able to notice differences between the 4 glasses I ordered. For example, two of the glasses had a much thicker base, which made the glasses substantially heavier. The slight differences did not bother me, and should probably be expected since they are handmade (my waterford wine glasses also have very minute differences that most people would never notice).
It just tastes better
Having reviewed several albums on Amazon, I'm somewhat taken aback formulating comments regarding a cocktail glass. But what a glass it is! 5 stars. Beautiful in design and to hold. This is my third Waterford tumbler. Other two I broke. Kid gloves with this one. It was shipped perfectly and as a result no reservations about Waterford through mail.
Well wouldn't you know it, I've now have broken the third one, this one after only two and a half months. Not happy. I was careless. But man what a glass. A gentleman's drinking glass. Now three days later, I've ordered my fourth. Overnight delivery. (Friday, 5/24/13)
