Reverse Osmosis Plastic Storage Tank

Compact size great for small kitchen RO System
This product is what makes RO systems seem like they provide efficient water on demand.
When a storage tank fails, an RO system seems to lack capacity, barely dripping along.
This tank stores a sufficient amount of RO water for our family needs; I am able to refill 4 one liter bottles; a tea kettle and 6 quart stock pot one after the other without running out of RO water or a noticeable drop in water pressure..

Product not as pictured, threaded tap screws on top of tank not side as pictured; still it works great;
Old tank had defective bladder, decided to install this tank on its side. Easily fit in small cabinet next to sink. I presume to increase longevity of the rubber bladder in this tank by laying it on its side. Doing so eliminates the bladder contending with the weight of the water. Double checked empty tank air pressure, tank came precharged with correct amount of air.

Excellent Plastic RO tank
I was in the water treatment business for 8 years and have seen many RO products. This, IMHO, rates 5 stars. It is well constructed and came with a valve even though the info page said it would have to be purchased separately.

Part required to connect to your system
Assuming you want to connect this to an RO system, which is likely using 1/4" OD tubing, you'll want an Adapter for 1/4" tube OD x 1/4" NPTF (Female) pipe. I found one that works on the McMaster-Carr website [...]. Product number 1901K29. It's a chemical-resistant PVDF tube fitting, and is Food Grade rated by FDA. Would be nice if Amazon or this seller offered it, as my local Home Depot did not.

As far as the tank rating goes, it holds water. I need to boost my water pressure from the well in order for my refrigerator to take water from this tank. One more thing to add to my list.
