Beautiful set, matches items I brought back from Deruta perfectly
If you love Italian pottery, this is a beautiful set to have on your table. I love mine, it reminds me of my beloved Italy every time that I use it. The product it handmade and beautifully painted and glazed. The design is classic and found on many products for sale in Deruta.
I don't know if the products of Deruta are made of any special clay, but they are remarkably tough. I have many pieces of Deruta pottery and none of them have chipped or cracked. Since I can not say the same thing about other items in my home, I assume that it must be the materials.
I highly recommend this item to anyone that loves Italy or Italian culture.
