Messermeister San Moritz Elite 4-Inch Petite Chefs Knife

Superior quality cutlery from Messermeister
I just purchased the Elite 4" Petite Chefs Knife to add to my Messermeister set. I used to use Henkels but I have found the finer ergonomic design and metal quality noticeably better with Messermeister. The Henkels has lost quality as it cuts quality chasing the mass market. Messermiester really pays attention to details and using them tells the difference. The Elite design is more contemporary and looks better to my eye than the usual two rivet design. There is an excellent selection of most all popular types of knives and accessories available. Amazon sells only some of them. The Messermeisters do not stain and are very easy to clean. The factory printing does not wear off which keeps the cutlery looking fresh. Highly recommended.

Has never been sharp
For the longest time I used a small chef's knife that was an inexpensive one. I always laughed about that because most of my knives are much better quality. When this one just vanished, I thought it was time to get myself a better one. Out of the box it hardly cut anything. I've tried to sharpen it but no luck. I will probably dig it out one day and take it to a professional to try to have it sharpened but that shouldn't be necessary with a new knife. At least I don't think so.
